Baby Bloomer contains a complete blend of specialized nutrients, essential vitamins and minerals specifically designed to meet the nutritional needs of women who are preparing for pregnancy, or those that are already pregnant or nursing.
Pregnancy is characterized not only by an increased need for nutrients, but also a physiologic increase in insulin resistance, which may have a negative impact on both mom and baby. This formulation now includes two forms of the insulin-balancing antioxidant Inositol, – Myo-Inositol & D-Chiro-Inositol (Chirositol®) – to help support this change in physiology due to pregnancy.1
Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMM) is also part of this exceptional product, added for its reproductive-supportive attributes. Studies have shown that the rate-limiting factor to fertility is declining oocyte (egg) quality that accompanies aging. Loss of oocyte quality also accompanies declining levels of the prominent metabolic cofactor, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+). Administration of the NAD+ metabolic precursor NMN may rejuvenate oocyte quality, leading to a possible restoration in fertility.2 The benefits of MNM may also extend to the developing body, where supplementation may reverse the adverse effects of maternal age.
This formulation also includes antioxidant support from bioflavonoids and digestive support with enzymes and herbs, including ginger, that are calming to the digestive tract.
